Car importer Inchcape Motors has dumped Coopers & Lybrand?s global reporting application in favour of Walker?s Horizon, for which it has paid #200,000. Inchcape?s group finance project manager said the Dos-based product was unable to integrate with Windows NT. The company wants to move away from Dos applications and consolidate its current systems around NT. He added that Walker was able to provide better analytical capabilities, collection, consolidation and reporting of group budgets and management accounts.
