The humdrum truth about e-business

E-business in the UK is heavily focused on the growth of price comparison sites dealing with everything from car and pet insurance to credit cards and hotel beds (Britain is already a broadband leader).

When the government talks up the Silicon Roundabout in Shoreditch as a source of the next Google, one is given visions of exciting businesses creating content, not just the 1950s typing pool transformed into people entering product information onto a comparison site.
