It’s all very well praising Star Trek’s high ethical standards, but Star Wars is essentially BRITISH (Shatner nails it! Star Trek does beat Star Wars “on every level”)!
Not only were large chunks of the original and subsequent Star Wars episodes made here in Blighty, but students of the series will remember seeing such British icons as road drill compressors, and occasional eclectic items from the RS catalogue. And, of course, our local hero here in Bristol is the great (huge, actually) Dave Prowse.
