Like most normal people I find Cebit an enormous pain. This is not helped by the fact that every single company that calls and wants me to be their guest at Cebit expects me to spend the entire time there as their sole guest. "Please why don't you come with us to Cebit and enjoy the whole three days there talking to our techie people about the joys of recycling toner cartridges?"
NO! Absolutely not! There must be some soft of biblical sin associated with such a proposed session.
Cebit may be unpleasant but it offers millions of IT companies in one place. The only point of going to the damn thing is to see as many companies as possible. So, you want journos at Cebit? Be smart and let them loose a bit. It might help.
