Oram explains that larger enterprises and public sector organisations are increasingly interested in open source technologies, attracted by lower cost, as long as they are comfortable with the after sales and support process.
He also discusses social enterprise - do customers really want vendors to get 'social' with them?
Oram argues that social media allows people with problems to connect with people with solutions.
