How to make the move to cloud computing with virtualisation

Virtualisation is one of the hottest technology trends of the moment. Early adopters are already saving money and reducing their energy use by consolidating servers into a more flexible and easier to manage IT infrastructure.

In a Computing web seminar, in association with IBM, we examined the role of virtualisation in today’s IT strategies. Our panel of experts answered viewers' questions on the best practice in cutting costs and saving energy using the technology, and its role in the roadmap to cloud computing.
