In the olden days, a comprehensive perusal of a newspaper archive required a day trip to the library. The British Library. In London. Today, the internet is the archive and can quickly highlight some amusing inconsistencies, such as the US government warning of a “potential new Stuxnet attack” last summer (See Computing, 1 August 2011). Considering that the US government has pretty much admitted that it was behind Stuxnet, it’s unclear whether we should take this warning seriously or not.
