Our regular correspondent Anthony Hawkins received a package form NetApp which was a squashed cube. When you open the package, a little rubber band snaps the cube into three dimensions. “Deceptively spacious”, it says.
Anthony points out that it is also deceptively thick: because the post office decided it was the wrong shape for the stamp, and bumped it to second class. Which caused this recipient to decide that the moral of the story really should be “Slower and more expensive than you were led to believe”.
