You might have thought that MC Hammer’s choice of post-rap career might have been as the concierge at an art gallery (“Sorry: you can’t touch this”), but it appears he has a career in academia and investing.
Following stints lecturing on social media at Harvard and Stanford University, he appeared on Oprah last week to discuss his new career investing in technology start-ups: “Everything from advising to consulting to investing, it keeps me busy 10 to 12 hours a day.”
“I’m stunned. Who knew you were a geek?” Oprah said. If you see him, make an effort to watch your mouth. He also manages 22 mixed martial artists in his spare time.
