The Organisers of SEC 98 have put out a call for papers and contributions. The SEC conference is one of seven events which make up the International Federation for Information Processing World Computer Congress 98, to be held in Vienna and Budapest.
SEC 98 will cover technical as well as commercial aspects of information security, with the emphasis on global commerce. Contributions are sought as full papers (assigned a 30-minute slot) or posters (12-minute slot).
A list of preferred subject areas is available, which includes money and banks in cyberspace; evolution of digital signatures and applications; authentication for large groups; security modelling; and development of standards. Papers must be submitted by 16 January 1998.
The event will be take place on 31 August-4 September 1998, with transfer from Vienna to Budapest on 2 September.
