Masterpack International has won a #1.2 million contract from Walker Greenbank for a single, enterprise-wide software solution. The client is an international group of companies which designs, manufactures, markets and distributes wall coverings, furnishing fabrics, display materials and luxury carpets through a portfolio of well-known brands.
Initially serving 200 users on Data General hardware, running under UNIX and an Ardent database, the new Masterpack system encompasses software for Warehouse Management, Customer Service, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, Marketing, Workflow and Project Costing. The Lotus Notes Gateway and financial applications. Modules for Internet/Electronic Commerce are to be phased in during 1999.
