Computer Science graduates are among the highest earners after graduating, according to Barclays Bank's survey of graduate earnings. They earned on average #15,175 - #2,500 higher than non-IT graduates. Just 13% had problems getting the job they wanted, and almost one in three found jobs which had graduate training schemes. Those surveyed predicted they would be earning #26,295 within five years - expectations only exceeded by medical, law and maths graduates. Over 83% got jobs in the private sector - a third in consultancies and 31% in services. Two thirds expect to work in Europe at some stage. Their average debt was higher than other students and they made more job applications than others.
