NCR's financial systems group headed off for a few days of strategy setting in Orlando last week. Saturday night was Burns' Night.
Why are these two facts connected? NCR's director of marketing communications, Kevin Nisbet, and his assistant, Frazer Blyth, are both professional Scotsmen.
They took their kilts and bagpipes with them to Orlando with the intention of entertaining the NCR hoards by addressing the haggis and eating neaps and tatties.
Imagine their joy when they discovered that Florida's finest would be taking part in the Orlando Highland Games on Saturday and that they'd be able to enter too. Backbytes waits to hear what they wore under their kilts.
