Norwich Union's general insurance division is planning to provide online document access to third parties.

The customer communication management system will allow Norwich Union to access documents by linking directly into broker's back-office software.

Brokers working with Norwich Union will be able to access certain commercial documents from a central, online repository.

The customer communication management system provided by Docucorp has enabled commercial documentation to be converted into PDFs, which are then stored in IBM’s content manager system.

Benefits include a significant reduction in print, paper and postage costs.

Other benefits include helping brokers to offer better customer services as well as responding and managing cases much more quickly and effectively.
