IT professionals in organisations that aren't rethinking their mobile web presence say the single biggest reason for this is that "senior management does not really understand the problem". This could be a case of senior management figures sticking to tradition, or simply being out of touch with the importance of mobile in today's world. Perhaps it's the case that senior figures don't own or use smart devices and thus haven't directly seen the benefits they could bring. Whatever the reason, having luddites at the top is bad news for businesses that need to react to the mobile revolution. Read the report
