Zycko rolls out Riverbed training across Europe

Networking and storage distributor expands its Riverbed training to Germany, Belelux and France, with other territories in the pipeline

Written by Sam Trendall

Zycko Academy, the training arm of networking distributor Zycko, is rolling out its training courses on vendor Riverbed's wide-area data services (WDS) technology across Europe this year.

The Riverbed courses will hit Germany, Benelux and France and Zycko plans to take them to other European locations including Italy, Russia and Norway later in the year.

The academy's director of training services, Peter Barnes, said: "Zycko Academy has been successfully delivering authorised Riverbed training in the UK for more than a year. We have also been delivering some training in Germany. The expanded European training operation that we are now making available is a natural progression of our capability and growing demand.”

Alex Hesterberg, Riverbed's senior director of professional services, said: "We are very happy to see the geographic expansion of Zycko Academy as a Riverbed Authorised Training Partner. Zycko Academy has dedicated itself to delivering the same high quality Riverbed training that our customers and partners experience at our headquarters. This is key to the Riverbed global WDS mission.”

Emily Price, training product manager at Zycko Academy, said: “This announcement is a great step in Zycko Academy’s Riverbed training partnership and signals our commitment to offer Riverbed training to all customers throughout Europe.”
