Enline clinches SSO contract

Security VAR rolls out new technology

Written by Doug Woodburn

Security VAR Enline has rolled out an Imprivata single-sign-on (SSO) solution for Mayday Healthcare NHS Trust.

The technology will allow the Croydon-based trust’s 2,000 users to sign on to all applications using one smartcard and PIN.

Paul Edmondson, commercial director at Enline, said the market still has growth potential. “We now have 11 or 12 NHS SSO users and three or four on proof of concept. Imprivata probably has 25 in total.

“The market is a long way from saturation. There is funding on back-end budget spend so we are seeing people taking a small number of licences to use as a stepping stone to a full implementation.”
