Vendor Arxceo has claimed the UK market is ripe for anti-reconnaissance technology and is looking to the channel to ramp up market demand.
The US firm has signed distributor Lindy Electronics in the UK and is looking to recruit integrators and security-focused VARs to push its technology and increase awareness.
Greg Grant, vice-president of channel development at Arxceo, said: “A firewall does not stop a hacker from probing a company network and finding out sensitive information. Our technology, which also has anomaly and behaviour-based intrusion prevention technology built-in, basically cloaks a network so a hacker cannot see what is there in the first place.”
Stephen Fawcett, senior product manager at Lindy Electronics, said: “We have been doing a lot of work identifying the market and are looking to promote the product to the channel as well as to end-users.”
