Agenda Setters

Computing's group of IT leaders and experts who will debate some of the biggest challenges for business technology

Written by James Watson

The Computing Agenda Setters has been introduced to discuss five broad challenges that face the industry.

From chief information officers to legal and venture capital experts, we have invited a wide range of thinkers from both the public and private sector to contribute to the debate.

The questions we propose are broad, forming the basis for a wider debate:

  • Does IT matter?
  • Can we ever trust IT?
  • How do we attract the brightest and best into IT - and keep them?
  • What role should the government play in supporting IT?
  • How can organisations bridge the gap between IT and the enterprise?

We're interested in knowing what your thoughts on these topics are. If you are a senior IT professional in an end-user organisation and feel that you have something to contribute to this debate, email agendasetters@vnu.co.uk
