Freshfields enhances document management

Case-specific data will be available automatically to 6,000 users at law firm

Written by Angelica Mari

Law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is rolling out software to manage its documents and knowledge content.

The software will sit on the firm’s core infrastructure software and is set to provide more than 6,000 users with instant access to information.

Functionality in the software includes alerts to similar content and internal subject-matter experts, while guiding staff to relevant case topics automatically.

“As a leading international law firm, we are always on the lookout for technology that boosts efficiency and effectiveness, helps to cut costs, delivers unique solutions to our lawyers and improves service to our clients,” said Paul Domnick, chief information officer at Freshfields.

The platform is provided by Autonomy Software.
