Childrenswear retailer upgrades merchandising

Adams Childrenswear is replacing its merchandising systems with a single solution

Written by Janie Davies

Children's clothing retailer Adams has chosen a single merchandising system that can interact with its e-commerce and warehousing sorting systems.

IT services group Retail Assist is implementing a system that will provide enhanced functionality, including in-season planning, allocation and replenishment, merchandising analysis and business intelligence.

The system will improve productivity and offer the business more control, said David Carter-Johnson, chief executive of Adams.

"By implementing the system we will gain a modern, flexible and fully-supported packaged solution that will make us more productive, giving us better management information and control," he said.
