Centrica outsources applications management

The energy giant signs Fujitsu to provide 24/365 services

Centrica has signed an application management and support services deal worth £2.1m with Fujitsu.

The three-year contract is for Fujitsu's Applications Value Assessment software to run systems supporting residential and business customers.

“We are delighted to have appointed Fujitsu to continue to help us modernise our legacy systems," said Neil Coop, senior commercial manager at Centrica.
