Virgin Atlantic has extended its managed services contract with supplier Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for a further four years.
No major changes are expected from the new agreement and TCS will continue to manage Virgin Atlantic’s service desk, infrastructure and application support services as well as IT contracts with other suppliers.
“Today, airlines need to effectively exploit IT more than ever to be successful in a very competitive market place and we have the right partner to enable this,” said Virgin Atlantic’s IT director Mike Cope.
Financial details of the contract extension were not disclosed.
