Chrysler has signed Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) to provide mainframe, server and storage services across its global operations
The deal will also cover some elements of support, maintenance and development said Jan Bertsch, vice president and chief information officer, Chrysler.
"This partnership represents the next step in our continuous efforts to operate more efficiently and effectively and gives us the tools and flexibility to drive, not just react, to business growth," said Bertsch.
"It will not only give us access to global delivery capabilities as we expand into international markets, it is part of Chrysler's journey toward financial health and well-being."
Financial terms of the outsourcing deal were not disclosed.
CSC and Tata Consultancy Services already signed a deal to run Chrysler's networking infrastructure and the car giant recently announced 200 job cuts in its IT department.
