MPs call for security tsar

Identity fraud is a growing problem, says the all-party group

The All Party Parliamentary Group on Identity Fraud has recommended the appointment of an identity tsar to help tackle the growing problem of ID Fraud.

The report recommends increase resources for law enforcement and greater powers for the Information Commissioner as well as improved reporting mechanisms to help government get an idea of the size of the problem.
