Australian firm Woodside signs £25m IT services deal

Written by Janie Davies

Woodside, the Australian-based international and oil and gas company, has signed a three-year IT services deal worth $25m (£12.4m) with outsourcing specialist CSC.

The supplier recently completed a one-year IT services agreement with Woodside and will continue to provide comprehensive services, including data centre hosting and asset management.

"This new agreement reaffirms our ability to deliver operational results and further solidifies our leadership in the resources and mining sector," said Mike Shove, managing director of CSC's Australian operations.

CSC is a leading provider of services to the resources and mining sector. Its clients include mining giants Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton.
