The Edinburgh International Book Festival has taken delivery of a range of energy efficient PCs to handle the administrative and booking information for the more than 200,000 visitors expected throughout the month.
The annual festival, which runs alongside the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, has already taken more than 30,000 enquiries since tickets went on sale.
Fujitsu Siemens Computers, through its partner Edinburgh Computer Services, has provided energy efficient Esprimo and Amilo PCs for day-to-day operations.
‘The Edinburgh International Book Festival is now a major event in the August festival season,’ said festival director Catherine Lockerbie. ‘It attracts people of all ages and brings together authors and readers from all over the world.’
