United Utilities signs £14m telecoms deal

Contract covers voice and data for 50 sites across the UK

United Utilities Water has signed a £14m contract with telecoms provider Thus for network and mobile services across the water company's 50 sites.

The deal is an extension of the existing five-year relationship between the two firms. It includes more than 6000 voice extensions, telemetry, and mobile voice and data services using Blackberry devices.
