Store management software is in fashion

Claire’s Stores begins global rollout, starting in the UK

Written by Dave Friedlos

Fashion accessories retailer Claire’s Stores is rolling out new store management software to more than 3000 shops worldwide, beginning with its UK outlets.

The system supports a variety of in-store functions, including tills, promotional events, returns management, inventory look-up and time and attendance.

The retailer chose an integrated suite from Epicor CRS that includes RetailStore 3.0 and RetailStore Central software.

‘We were able to implement business processes that were unique to our company, so that the system reflects our corporate culture,’ said Claire’s chief information officer Keith Pickens.

‘We now have scalable solutions that address key areas of our retail operations, so that we can better manage our stores and deliver excellent customer service.’

He says the RetailStore Central module was particularly important as it enabled the company to manage store system configurations worldwide.

RetailStore 3.0 features till software and back-office applications to handle all transactions, processes and workflow.
