Private Wealth Management division gets new IT system for improved customer service

Written by Lara Williams

Deutsche Bank is implementing a new global IT system in its Private Wealth Management (PWM) business to strengthen its competitiveness in this exclusive market.

Covering both front- and back-office, the project will provide electronic channel  capabilities with features for operational and analytical customer relationship management (CRM), process workflow and channel banking.

‘The new IT platform will enable further profitable business growth, reduced time-to-market for new and innovative product solutions and an increased operational efficiency,’ said Pierre de Weck, global head of PWM.

The platform provided by Temenos is an integrated, modular banking system built on an open, service-oriented architecture and uses established technology standards such as HTTP, XML and HTML.

Benefits of the system include a single client view across the organisation and no end-of-day batch processing for real-time non-stop banking.
