Virgin Mobile is extending its use of electronic billing fulfilment technology to reduce costs and improve customer service.
The company is expanding an existing agreement with vendor Microgen that until now has covered internet billing and online bill data analysis to include the processing of Virgin Mobile's invoices and statements.
The deal is intended to reduce the overall cost of multi-channel billing.
'This will satisfy Virgin Mobile’s evolving requirements for transactional bills and statements for the future,' said a Virgin Mobile spokesperson.
The company says the new system will be flexible and deliver additiona efficiencies to the business.
