The House of Commons Public Accounts Committee (PAC) is to hear evidence on the progress of the £6bn National Programme for NHS IT (NPfIT) next month. Director general Richard Granger will be one of the witnesses. A National Audit Office report on the programme has been expected for some time. NPfIT says the PAC review is part of the normal course of scrutiny of public programmes.
