Scottish Power is spending #550,000 on systems management tools from Platinum Technology. The electricity, gas and water utility has bought six Platinum tools to support the group's IT services and applications. David Jones, managing director of the group's information systems division, said: 'Platinum tools are a key part of our systems management strategy and will help us to save millions of pounds a year.'
