BlackBerry maker Research in Motion continues to innovate in the smartphone market. Several recently launched devices have boosted customer demand, with 2.3 million subscribers signing up in one three-month period this year.

Telecity Group
Telecity’s infrastructure and datacentre services are used by a diverse customer base, including ISPs, telecoms firms, Barclays, eBookers and
The Guardian. Its datacentres meet international quality standards, and it is a regular innovator and advocate of high-density hosting.

Ruckus Wireless
Ruckus is a strong innovator, offering Wi-Fi solutions that meet a recognised gap in the market. Its ZoneFlex Smart Wireless LAN system combines smart antenna arrays, 802.11n, wireless meshing and centralised management. It is affordable, and offers simplified, robust security.

iPass
iPass offers mobility management services that enable business continuity and remote working and increase IT management effectiveness. The simple and intuitive interface and global virtual network give a consistent user experience, increase productivity and lower costs.

ANS Group
ANS offers networking solutions including wireless, security and unified communications to the private and public sector. It prides itself on customer service and staff satisfaction, and has seen sales grow by £10m in the past year.

Fluidata
Launched in early 2006, the company has expanded rapidly and counts firms such as Virgin and BP among its customers. Fluidata creates bespoke technology to specific requirements and consistently exceeds customer expectations.

Freedom4 WiFi
Freedom4 is Europe’s largest Wi-Fi aggregator and provides access to 40,000 hotspots across 80 countries. Real-time provision monitoring ensures customers get a consistently good, value-for-money service.

LifeSize Communications
LifeSize was the first company to develop and deliver high-definition video communications, and continues to innovate. Its recently launched LifeSize Focus and LifeSize Express bring the capabilities of much more expensive conferencing products to businesses of all sizes, at a competitive price.
