Money or holiday for best blog

MyVouchercodes launches blogging competition

Writers can win a holiday or cash

Written by Andrea-Marie Vassou

Bloggers who write about discount site MyVouchercodes could win themselves a holiday or £3000.

MyVouchercodes stores e-mail discount and voucher codes that can be used to get money off certain products in high street stores such as John Lewis, PC World and Boots, or off postage costs for online sites.

It is running a competition to find the best review or write up of its site and giving away an all inclusive holiday to the Maldives, or a £3000 cash equivalent, to the winner.

To enter, writers must first post the review, which has no minimum word count, on their social networking profile page, or blog, and include a link to the MyVoucher site. They must send a link to the review to MyVoucherCodes.

Those who are more artistic can also make a video “doing something silly to promote the site”, which can then be posted on Youtube.

Mark Pearson, Managing director of MyVoucherCodes said: “Not only will the prize be the perfect trip to paradise for one lucky winner, but it also means that we continue in our campaign to help shoppers get the best deals and discounts by raising our profile across the UK and in particular search engines”.

The competition closes 12 January 2008. The winner will be announced shortly after.
