Written by Paul Grant

Not content to rest on its laurels, KPMG has already started its campaign to retain the title of best big company to work for in 2009, with the launch of a new package for working parents.

Responding to increased demands on those caring for children, it is providing extended support, including 20 days' emergency childcare costs, 18 weeks of full maternity pay, comfort rooms for pregnant women and mentoring, coaching and training programmes.
