Firm to audit 2007 Special Olympics

Having already been named as as supplier to the 2008 Beijing Olympics, PricewaterhouseCoopers has now been selected as auditing services provider for this year’s Special Olympics ‘World Summer Games’, to be held in Shanghai in October.

The firm was selected by the The 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games Executive Committee and a signing ceremony was held this week in Shanghai where the firm was presented with a certificate of appreciation at its Shanghai Office,

The 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games, which will be staged in Asia for the first time, will host 7,500 athletes with intellectual disabilities from more than 160 countries and regions.

In April 2007, PwC was named as the accounting services supplier of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
