SAS sales up 15 per cent

Business intelligence applications accounted for 29 per cent of 2007 sales

Business intelligence (BI) software specialist SAS saw annual revenue rise 15 per cent to $2.15bn (£1.1bn) in 2007, but did not disclose profit figures for the period.

BI applications represented 29 per cent of all sales. In regional terms, the Americas accounted for 44 per cent of the firm's business, Europe/Middle East/Africa for 45 per cent and Asia/Pacific for 11 per cent.
