Revenue in Europe helped drive growth

CSC profit on track

Commercial sector in Europe contributed revenue growth of more than 20 per cent

CSC's third quarter profit was $179m (£90m), up 58 per cent year on year thanks to strong demand Europe's private sector.

Overall revenue for the period was $4.16bn, (£2.11bn) up 14.3 per cent, but the firm's European commercial sector business saw growth of more than 20 per cent.

And North American public sector revenue increased 8.6 per cent to $1.44bn (£730m) from $1.32bn (£670m).

The company says it is on track to achieve fiscal year profit target.
