Brocade numbers up

Quarterly rise of 200 per cent takes income to £15m for the three-month period

Brocade's Q4 profit was £15m, up 200 per cent on the previous quarter and 60 per cent year on year.

Quarterly revenue was $340m (£165m), up 63 percent on last year. Revenue for the full year was up 65 percent to $1237m (£598m), compared with $751m (£363m) in 2006.

The three-month period was a record quarter for Brocade's Director storage products.

Brocade's management structure was recently reorganised to smooth the way for future acquisitions.
