Pharmaceutical company deploys data capture software

Written by Lara Williams

Pharmaceutical firm Pfizer has signed an agreement with intelligent document solutions provider Autonomy Cardiff to provide data capture software.

The software will automatically classify, extract and validate company data from any paper document or form type with the aim of improving data accuracy, reducing operating costs and accelerating business processes.

The single platform system can accelerate high-volume, high-accuracy information capture from structured and unstructured paper and documents received from either centralised or distributed locations.

The system also provides the deep and secure level of auditing and reporting required for compliance in heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals.
